A small, as yet untitled, sculpture

This small piece is the product of my ongoing efforts to make cool 3-dimensional forms that start from and sometimes bounce back to their 2-dimensional roots. I imagine that the little squares could spin outward forever or re-collect back to some flat starting point. And the paint job at times accentuates the sculpture’s planar quality, at others its spacial quality. It’s kind of molecular, kind of cosmological.

Shall I bookmark this website and check back for another update on April 28th? I wouldn’t go so far as to call this a blog…more of an occasionally updated website. All I know is, those of us stuck in an office job with nothing to distract us but the Inter-Webs all day NEED new content! It feeds our souls! Without it, I may be forced to do some WORK! So please, think of the poor office drones. Please.

That is so cool but more pictures please! Spin the thing and show us some 2-D!

Thank you, Vlad, for the title suggestions. Yeah, blog isn’t quite the right word for this. It’s a website with an infrequently used blogging feature. As the site grows and knows what it’s doing, I hope it can provide a drop to your insatiable appetite for online content. Now get back to work!

If I gave you a virtual 3-D experience of this thing, you’d never have the incentive to see it in person:) My posted photos are like appetizers, I hope. The full meal comes later when I exhibit the pieces and you can walk around them and see them for what they are!
